½" High Commercial Door Aluminum Threshold Seal Kit
The GaraDry commercial threshold kit has been designed to form a watertight seal between the commercial shutter or garage door and the floor and will seal gaps up to 1/2". The threshold will also prevent leaves, dust and debris from being blown under the shutter/garage door, thus ensuring a clean and dry environment. The product is made from a highly durable aluminum extrusion made to withstand heavy traffic.
The kit itself is made up sections of aluminum which are joined together with a flat bar insert to maintain rigidity. The thermoplastic bottom insert seals are supplied in a continuous length, giving a complete seal along the full overall length of the threshold.
For floors with a slightly uneven surface, clear adhesive/sealant is available to apply to the internal and external bottom seals to help ensure a good adhesion to the floor. This sealant can also be used to seal around the edges of the threshold and frame. Sealant can be ordered at the same time as your threshold using the option above.

GaraDry operates a warehouse out of Tennessee. Consignments shipped from this location arrive via FedEx Ground service and will usually be received within 1-3 days, depending on your distance from Tennessee.

How it WorksThe ½" high GaraDry commercial threshold seal is fitted behind the commercial shutter or garage door, it butts up against the back of the door to create a watertight barrier. When the door closes, the bottom edge of the door contacts the threshold seal which closes any gaps. Once installed, the threshold seal provides effective protection from leaves, dust, sand, debris and rodents from entering the premises as well as protecting against draughts, windblown rainwater, standing water, cold air and snow.
