HOW TO EFFECTIVELY STORE HOLIDAY DECORATIONS IN THE GARAGE

The holidays are a great time to relax with family and friends and give thanks for all you have, but one part of the holidays which is always a hassle is getting the decorations in and out of storage. Whether it is Halloween, Easter or Christmas, make your holidays stress-free by following these simple tips for holiday decoration storage.

1. Firstly, organise your holiday decorations by placing them into storage bins. Make sure any fragile decorations are carefully packaged to avoid damage and consider the order that the items are put away, to ensure decorations which are used for multiple holidays are easy to get out. Don’t forget to label each box and include a checklist, this will save you valuable time when you are looking for an item.
2. Garages suffer from temperature fluctuations so think carefully about candles, crystals and other decorations which might be impacted by those temperature swings.
